DAY
Diamonds sparkling on the grass
Daybreak's brought her morning dew
Another promised day ahead
Nature's gift to me and you
The new born day is all abound
With flights of honey bees
Gathering sweets from garden blue
As Robins sing from lofty trees
Afternoons of sunny skies
Sweeping up the meadows fair
As purple hues of heather flowers
Show off their presence there.
Starry starry night
Welcomes in the golden moon
And as the day comes to it's end
Crickets play their little tune
Peaceful, peaceful night
Lay my head on pillow down
Sandman bringing his sweet dreams
'til morning comes around
