HAMBURGER SOUP

2 pounds ground beef

1 bag (16 oz) mixed vegetables

1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes

2 medium onions, chopped

7 to 8 medium potatoes, chunked

Salt & pepper to taste

Six cups of water or enough to cover vegetables

Using a dutch oven, brown meat and onions till meat is no longer pink.
Drain excess fat.
Add potatoes, mixed vegetables, tomatoes and salt and pepper to the ground beef mixture.
Add water to cover vegetables and bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer till potatoes are tender.

Makes 8 servings
